Liesl

I finished Liesl last night. I went with the cap sleeves and cropped sweater look but, I plan to make it again with the longer sleeves and body for Fall in that gorgeous green shade Ysolda is sporting because I am obsessed.

This sweater was very easy to knit however I kept making a silly mistake when I was binding off for the sleeves. I kept forgetting to knit one and then start the bind offs so the lace was coming out wrong. This mistake meant ripping out, redoing, ripping out again this time unraveling more then I wanted to and then finally figuring out what I was doing wrong.

I used Louisa Harding Kashmir Aran which has a pretty drape. This yarn was on sale at my LYS and I stocked up.

Apparently, I am not beyond going out in my front yard to take pictures in my pajamas.

I hereby swear that once I'm done with all this toxic stripping of wood in my house I'm taking on the kindler, gentler art of knitting. Love the Liesl, it looks lovely on you.
