for the table

A new table runner for our dining room table made with Japanese import fabric from a Purl fat quarter. I used 2 of the quarters and combined them with the result of a simple patchwork runner. I love the patterns which are the Abeille Clover and Spots in pink. The fabric feels and looks so good: it is 85% cotton, double layer voile with waffle weave texture.

These are the 2 fabric swatches used. The clover is in the middle with the spots on either side.

Wow, your table is beautiful. Nice use of the Japanese fabrics. I'm jealous.

Beautiful runner! Love the fabrics. And your table is so neat and tidy. Mine is presently covered with two-weeks' worth of projects/piles for filing/stuff from thrift stores that I have to admire for a while longer before I find places for them! Your table looks like a grown-ups. I too am jealous.

Oh my gosh, I love your runner. Can we be best friends? We have such similar taste!! What are the flowers in your vase, they are so lush! I'm going to Tokyo in July, and will be raiding the local fabric stores. I'm really looking forward to it, maybe I can pick you up some fabric! I wonder what they'd call a fat quarter over there....
