tiny dancer

This dress is called Laurel by Colette Patterns and I made my third one last week. I know what the fit will be like and that I like a shorter zipper in the back. I know I will wear it and that it flatters my shape.

This Liberty print is called Tiny Dancer. If you look closely at the fabric you will see ballet and modern dance moves being performed by male and females and some of the males have beards. This could be weird if the print was large but, it's the subtlety that makes it work so well.

I like the short length with the shift style of this dress. I made my own binding with this same fabric. 

I think this pattern is suited for an advanced beginner as it has bust and back darts and a zipper.
