Aren't these so pretty? You start with blown out eggs and transfer the images onto them using graphics on tattoo paper. The idea hails from Country Living Magazine and the instructions for making your own are here. I had a lot of fun with this project and I think the result is really nice. I also have more tattoo paper and images ready to go so these will make for some fun over the summer.
I am so happy that I finally got to finish this project! I had originally planned for them to be done a few weeks before Easter and it was to be part of the decor. The first derailment in my plan was that the tattoo paper took a while to arrive and then when it did my printer broke and I haven't been able to replace it. This weekend I was at my parents so I used their printer.
I look forward to displaying them next year for the holiday.
